About the Strap: A meticulously handcrafted brown shark leather strap, designed for unparalleled durability and unique texture. This rare brown shark leather is scarce and sought after. Featuring a design to accommodate your OEM thumbnail buckle (as pictured). The edge finishing has been improved over previous versions of my shark straps. No more cracks, and much more flexibility over previous versions.
The edges of this strap are a semi-gloss hand burnished black that is waterproof. This shark leather Panerai strap is composed of 100% shark skin. Additionally, the strap features a crease along the edges. Stainless steel tubes are provided on the lug sides of the strap, and are removable at your discretion. I selected a brown thread with high tensile strength for the boxed hand stitching on this strap. Note the strap in the photos measures a 95/65 and was designed for a small wrist.
-What about the Spring Bars and Buckle?
You will be using your OEM spring bars. This strap is not an OEM quick-change mechanism strap, so you will use a needle or pin pusher tool to easily remove your two OEM spring bars and then re-use them with this strap. It is quite simple and easy! As for the buckle, this strap with tapered design is designed to accommodate your OEM thumbnail style buckle, as pictured. You will need a small screw driver to remove your OEM buckle from your OEM strap, and then install it the same way onto this strap. Again, very simple.
-What if I want a 22/22 non-tapered strap, can you install a traditional Panerai vintage style pin buckle?
Yes, that is no problem. Simply make a note when ordering.

Additional Information:
The 38mm, 42mm and 45mm Luminor Due series are the latest entries in the Panerai catalog. As with all Panerai cases, I take into consideration many elements of the watch before making a custom strap for it. With regard to the Due models, you will notice that my website features only straps for the 42mm models which have a 22mm lug width. I can happily make straps for your 38mm or 45mm Luminor Due model as well.
If you have a 45mm Luminor Due model, please check the 24mm strap section. When I make straps for the Luminor Due series, I take into consideration the much thinner case, and utilize leather of a lower thickness. This thinner leather sometimes allows for straps of a more rigid temper.
A variety of buckles may also be used on the 22mm straps, so you may see more than one buckle option on the drop down menus for various Panerai Luminor Due straps. Another unique feature that many of my custom Panerai Luminor Due straps utilize is quick release spring bars. Quick release bars work especially well on straps of a more firm temper. Quick release spring bars allow you to change straps with no tools and thus no chance of scratching the case. Further, the slim and modern Due case lends itself to a wide variety of leathers that thicker cased Panerai models cannot pull off.
