About the Strap: *This is a thick strap, so follow the golden rule for substantial builds and size up one or two lengths from your usual fit. If you typically wear 125 / 80, step up to 135 / 80 for proper wrap and balance on the wrist. Crafted from premium Italian vegetable-tanned leather in a vivid aqua blue tone, this strap delivers bold color with refined character. The surface features a semi-gloss finish that is resistant to water damage.

At 4.2mm thick, it carries the presence required to anchor a larger Radiomir case while maintaining a true medium temper. The feel is supportive yet flexible—structured enough to hold its profile, but supple enough to break in over time. It conforms naturally to the wrist without feeling stiff, and it retains its form without collapsing.

For the stitching, I selected a thread from the same color family as the leather. This strap is 100% handcrafted and hand stitched throughout. I’ve done the stitching in an open-ended patter for this design. One fixed keeper and one floating keeper provide secure positioning and balanced proportions. Large circular holes improve adjustability and reinforce the classic Panerai aesthetic, while the extended tip refines the overall silhouette for modern case dimensions.

The strap tapers from 27mm at the lugs to 22mm at the buckle and is engineered to accept your OEM buckle. Additional buckle options are available in the dropdown for alternative configurations.

Finally, the edges are finished with a soft crease for definition without harshness. I have meticulously hand burnished the edges to a smooth glossy sheen. If you want a distinctive strap that balances color, structure, and long-term character, this one delivers.

Additional Information:  For every Panerai model, I follow a distinct design philosophy. The Radiomir remains my favorite Panerai case design, and I purchased my first Radiomir nearly two decades ago. I began making Radiomir straps much later, as I approached retirement. Designing for the Radiomir is both enjoyable and demanding, and that balance defines every Radiomir Strap I make.

For larger 47mm Panerai cases, I typically use thicker thread with wider spacing. The Radiomir requires a more nuanced approach. In the Radiomir Strap, I mix thicker and finer threads and vary stitch spacing based on the leather. Most of my custom Radiomir straps measure between 3.5 and 5.0 mm thick, with the average falling near the middle of that range.

Wire lugs demand softer, more pliable leathers. This allows the Radiomir Strap to flex naturally at the case. I usually apply a 27–22 or 26–22 taper, depending on the leather. For larger 47mm Radiomir cases, such as the PAM323, I recommend a thickness of 4.5 mm or more. I also design bolstered tapers for select 47mm cases to add structure where the strap meets the case.
